Post subject: Replacing Strat Bridge

I have a 2004 or 2005 Am Std Strat and wanted to know if there are any issues with replacing the bridge with the newer part number 0075091000.

Hi jamesc1123,

That's a direct drop in replacement. The difference being the saddles are the bent steel on the replacement vs the block saddles on your original. And I believe that the block on the replacement might be the new "Copper Infused Hi-Mass" block. Note that the bent steel saddle screws have centered screws, not offset like the block saddles, so the plates differ also.
