Anyone own one? How thick is the neck compared to the Modern C found on most Strats?

I own a srv strat and i love the neck!
I think it is the same as the regular c neck.
Only the finish on the back of the neck is a
Littlebit enoying while playing for a longer
Time.

i used to own one, the neck was asymetrical and thick but very comfy though.
the frets are tall, this is important. aside from the neck thickness, the fret height actually
has an effect on playing comfortably or akwardness. some like it, some dont, dependent on year, the fretboard is pao ferro, i may be wrong but past certain year, brazillian rosewood is used.
overall its a great strat

Modern C (personal opinion of course) is a toothpick compared to SRV. Profile is called "Thick oval" and it is sturdier in every way than this modern c. If youre looking for thick neck, SRV is your option. Remember: More wood -> more sound.

And as bluesstrattone alrerady answered, jumbo frets give also "larger" feel in it. For subhumans like me, who use beautifully crafted instruments as some kind of hammering tools, those frets are the only option. Heavy picking needs bigger frets.

And if you want thicker Vintage Hot Rod 62 has more depth in it. I chose my SRV due laziness. I didn't want to bother with changing texas specials in it.

Lazy*ss, thats what i am. Guess i'll buy Hot Rod later, when the messenger boy from my money well arrives...

And this Pau Ferro. I have no clue, what wood it is and after oiled rosewood this feels a little bit strange. However not in bad way at all. Took me just half an hour to get used to how it works. Its more dry. Stickier (not in gluey way) but using force (i believe i should swap my pick from 08 to throwing discuses anyways ;) helps.
