Since the big online US chains are prohibited from shipping to Canada, does anyone know who the largest distributor (and thus likely to have what I want) of Strats is in Ontario?

Thanks

Thanks for the reply but a local dealer may have, for example, 6 strats or less (3 Am Std and 3 MiM Std...not much of a selection)

What I am looking to find out is who has the most Strats on display. I am guessing that will also be the company that does the largest volume of sales in the province/country.

Long & Mcquade seems to have stores everywhere, they tend to have large showrooms and lots of candy to play with.
http://www.long-mcquade.com/

In Newmarket, Ont there is the Arts Music Store
http://www.theartsmusicstore.com/ also lots of "stuff" to keep you occupied. :)

In Richmond Hill there is Cosmo Music but they are currently moving to a whopping new building http://www.cosmomusic.ca/

And downtown Toronto there is Steves Music, the building is a dive but it is packed with instruments of all kinds
http://www.stevesmusic.com/

I deal mostly with "the Arts" and Long&Mcquade both have strats in the hundreds hanging on their walls.

I get all of my gear from Long and McQuade. Each Fender I have asked them about, they have been able to order it.

I've had dealings with the 12th Fret. They've always been reliable to me.
