Several years ago I acquired a MIJ Ritchie Blackmore Stratocaster (equipped with a RBTC (Real Big Tone Circuit) unit from the UK), from the US.

The serial number is A030500 and from what I've been able to deduce was issued in 1985 - 1986.

The Strat came without the original case and no case candy.

The pickups do not have the Seymour Duncan emblem.

The Olympic white colour has yellowed.

Would anyone have any information as to when the MIJ Strats were originally produced and in what quantity?
