Hello

I ordered a Fender American Standard Stratocaster from my local guitar shop in Toronto, Ontario.
I placed the order at the beginning of January and the guitar has not arrived yet. Does anyone know how long it takes to have a Strat delivered from the factory?

It depends - if Fender has the color your ordered in stock in their warehouse then they ship pretty quickly. If none are in stock then it won't ship until Fender runs another batch in the color you ordered. The production line doesn't do one guitar at a time; they run large batches of identical guitars. If for example you ordered a black Strat and they aren't scheduled to run black ones until May, then you won't get your guitar until June/July after they run that batch in May.

Ouch. I sure hope you don't have to wait until summer to get your strat. You may want to check with your local shop to see if they've received any MIAs in the color you wanted that aren't the one you ordered.
