They should be removed soon (with any luck). However, I think this whole episode poses questions about how individuals can re-join and pick up where they left off.

Cheers

looks like Brad took care of the trolls again. You do bring out a very good point. How can a forum block specific IP address' to simply stop them from coming back a third time? And I am wondering how long before they (he) returns to pickup where he left off. So nuts! Sme people are crazy or they have big egos that need to be fed but schoolyard antics.

Yes, Rain Man has been banned and his posts deleted. Still trying to get Brad to dump TormentaFuego who is the same person. He keeps coming back using different IP addresses, which makes it hard for Brad to do anything. It is up to the regular forum users to keep an eye out for this guy and report him to Brad by sending an e-mail to ForumAdmin@Fender.com. The guy is pretty easy to spot.

Just gotta be bigger than that.
You/we have a choice to read and be bothered.
or move on and ignore.

There is the "warning" red link at the bottom of each post.
Enough of those, Brad can investigate and make a decision.
Take care. Toppscore :)

I just received this e-mail from Brad: "I'll keep banning the guy every time he comes back. Meanwhile, best thing for folks to do is to simply not engage him on his postings and instead report them directly to me - seeing that he's getting a rise is what continues to inspire the behavior."

Excellent advice.

No, his posts are deleted but he still comes up as a member. Rain Man and his alter egos don't show up at all.

For a while I was beginning to think that the guy was on the wrong forum - seems to like photos of half- dressed Mexican men more than guitars. Or maybe he was just into sombreros.

alluding to the idea that the Icestorm and Firestorm guitars I have shown were made in Mexico copies.....or something like that. Like Brad said, ignore the the trolls. So any new guitars there cnsky54???

The local music store had to put the Surf Green Jeff Beck up on the top row of hangers so I would stop drooling on it...

I believe the proper term in that case is "G@y Caballeros". :o

Going ahead and locking this thread. If there are any more postings by Rain Man / TormentaFuego / or his next alias ... simply don't engage and send me a note directly. Just takes a few moments to yank the postings in question.
