hi guys,could you please help me to identify my Strat and a friends Tele. The serial numbers for the Strat is se06805 and the Tele is 40of50. Any help would be appreciated.

The Strat number indicates "Signature" series. The Tele number is not a serial number. Look on the headstock (front and back), neck plate, and bridge pickup mounting plate. Send the serial numbers to:

consumerrelations@fender.com

Posting photos here would also be helpful.

Thanks a lot I will definetely email them. Haha I did think that serial number on the Tele was a bit screwy!!!! Will try to post pictures asap
