I've installed them for other people but never for myself. IMO, they make Fenders play like a cross between an SG and a Melody Maker. I've also noticed a slight loss in acoustic sustain.

As always, this is merely IMO where YMMV.

I have a 24.75" Strat with a humbucker. It is nasty through distortion. I let my friend play it tonight, and he said it felt different from my other Fenders.
