Howdy Chaps & Thank you for the kind words! :D

Regarding a "Big Hairy Wiring Thread" (that title amuses me greatly!) I think it would be best to try and keep the content to the more frequently requested wiring quires. I've drawn up several pretty bonkers diagrams that were bespoke for various forum users during my time here, and I honestly can't foresee many additional requests for most those!

It needs to be as functional as possible, ideally as a visual aid to those of you who have the knowledge and ability to post an informative literary commentary (which is something I'm crap at!)

Don't expect anything too soon though as work is keeping pretty busy at the moment.

Cheers!

Andy

VERY cool! Actually, I MIGHT just have a go at this now.

And yes, I think the "Big Hairy Wiring Thread" is an AWESOME idea!

I recently got a Fender Deluxe Players Strat and did a Google search on how to wire the bridge pickup to the tone control and found this thread.

I just want to say how Greatful I am for the wiring diagram because it works like a charm!!

As I was re wiring the guitar I was thinking "omg there's no way this will work lol"

But after I got done it worked perfectly and I have tone control over all pickups plus normal Deluxe Players switching !

I'm extremely happy cause I couldn't gig with the guitar other wise.

Is that Fralin blender pot just a regular potentiometer?

Or is it special you gotta buy it from them?
