Well, I had this strat listed on CL a few weeks ago and no luck selling it but today received an offer to trade it straight across for a 2010 Gibson Les Paul... I met the guy and both of decided what the heck, let's do it. He was excited, I was excitied... seemed like a win win situation. I'd honestly never have been able to sell it for what I had wrapped up in parts so I think it was a great deal for all. Cool thing is, now I have a p90 equipped guitar which is something new for me... I do feel like a Benedict Arnold for sharing but don't despair Fender lovers, I still have two Strats and a Tele. :)

Sweet! Nothing quite like the sound of the P90, very nice. A friend has an original Les Paul Jr from the 60's, and a rare treat when I get to play it. Enjoy! :D

Yeah, it's a sweet playing and sounding guitar... I'm really loving the tone of the pups. I almost always have the urge to fiddle with things but this guitar it just perfect!

Tried one of these last weekend ...not very keen on that nasty Gibson finish but those P90s are sweet - I guess ugly girls try harder...

What model strat is that? It looks sweet and like a 70's strat with the headstock and decal, but the 22 frets don't add up... I would like a Strat like that, was it a custom shop?

That looks like a Les Paul Special with black soap bar P90s. I dig the color also! I love the way P90s sound! Nice trade!

Nope...not a CS. It was a mutt I put together. Warmoth neck, HWY 1 body, fralin blues specials and a Dimarzio 36th anniv. HB in the bridge. It was a really nice playing/sounding strat, and a looker to boot, but no regrets on the trade...
