hey guys, as you have noticed, in less than one year kurt cobain has managed to get 3 diferent signature model instruments (one from another guitar brand, talk about a record eh?) so i thought, why not do one more?... yeah it sounds kinda cheezy but here me out squier needs a kurt cobain signature guitar... at first i thought the mustang could do it... but then it hit me!!! the squier kurt cobain vandalism strat!!! no nicks, just your plain black on black strat with a bridge humbucker... but then you have the finish option of black with no sticker and black with a sticker under the finish, and maybe a white one (considering there is a white hss strat, although with an angled humbucker and a k in the middle of a sheild symbol)...

sounds kinda crummy i know but the truth is that kurt cobain was looking for some cheap guitars to play with at the time (thats why he mostly used mustangs) and it got me thinking what would kurt cobain be playing today? and it hit me... he'd most likely be playing squiers (most likely squier would have a mustang model too ) but he'd also be playing squier strats... cause he also loved strats

Maybe they could throw in a set of signature pajamas to wear while playing it.

well kurt cobain actually has 4... the jagstang, the signature jaguar, the new signature mustang and the new high flyer replica (as seen on heart shaped box)

The Strat the 000 martin (the 42 and 28) the Beano LP and the Sunshine 335. if you want to break it down you have the Clapton Sig strat the Blackie relic the 000-28 the 000-42 the Beano LP and the 335 so that is really six but who's counting.

but bottom line i honestly believe that kurt cobain would be playing a squier instead of a fender... so i believe my idea to be legit

They has Squiers in his day but he still played old mustangs and jags because he played what he could find left handed. Also I see nothing about Gibson putting out a Clapton SG just the 335 and LP from them.

Still not seeing anything on the Gibson site or anyplace else that Gibson did one. So I'm not counting it. Only modles put out as signature models should count in the count.
