Yeah I will probably mod this one a little but for now I have to get use to it for a few months,I will have to see what new strings and nut adjustments do before I go further,but possible vintage locking tuners and possibly a custom nut of some kind if I cant get this one working right,as far as pups I am not really sure what I have in there being the 2nd owner the first owner said he didnt change anything?we will see this weekend when I do a string change of what kind of pups are in there,not sure if they have been changed?

but I am a happy camper even with 10 month old strings on it,sounds out of this world crazy

Funny thing is, despite being perfectly happy with the N3 pickups, locking tuners, self lubricating nut, American series trem, compound radius neck, and S1 switch... I'm still considering mods. Specifically- the active mid boost and TBX tone circuits found on Clapton's sig strat.

But then, I guess if that's all there is to change on the guitar to make it my ultimate strat, that's not bad.
