I've bought 4 guitars in the last 6 months. The first guitar, purchased in September, is an Arctic White 2006 Standard HSS Stratocaster:



The second guitar, purchased in October, was another Standard HSS, this one a 2009 model in Lake Placid Blue:



Third is a 2010 Daphne Blue '50s Classic Series Stratocaster, bought in November:



Fourth is a brand new 2011 Lake Placid Blue Fender Marauder, bought last week:



How many guitars have you bought lately?

Nice run you got going there...no such luck here, only one in the last 6 months or so...a 60s Classic, with Texas Specials



But I did get a great amp too...so don't feel too sorry for me!

Now many NGDs have I had in the past six months? Way too many but I do have a sign up form for GAS Addicts Anonymous.

Hmmm, since this is the Strat Forum, there was only one NGD that qualifies.
An American Vintage '61 Thin-Skin.

And a very cool amp to plug it in to.

I hate to admit it, but I have had eight (8) NGDs in the last TWO months! I admit, I am One Sick Puppy, at least according to my guitar playing therapist, Dr. Alan.



This is six of them and one is out in the shop practice area, but I was too lazy to go get it for this picture. The other is in it's original hardshell case and I forgot about it, too.

I've also acquired four new (used) amps in the same time frame. What's the point of new guitars if you don't get some amps to go with them?

I shutter to think...

It (GAS) seems to be tapering off... I've actually been selling off some gear too so that's good. Of course I sell it and end up getting more... I've been revamping my pedal board as of late. I just sold some gear and purchased a T-Rex Replica and am currently waiting for big brown santa to deliver a Maxon PH-350 Rotary Phaser I just scored for cheap (relatively speaking) off eBay. I have been working on a speaker cab project too... there's a thread in the modern amps lounge. No new guitars in the works right now though... there's some beautiful guitars posted on this thread right now...congrats to all.

I plan on getting one more guitar, a Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster and then quit for a while. Maybe a Fender Frontman amp. I say that I'll quit, but all addicts say that.

just 2 for me , i was given this 57-59 hofner president a few months back , it needed the neck reset which i done the other week


and a tele i got yesterday

If guitars only, it was 4.

What color is that Tele? It's hard to photograph blue guitars. It looks sort of like Daphne Blue but it's hard to tell.

Thanks for posting all the great purchases of the last 6 months ..I have to admit i'm a little jealous..

I have reached a point to where i'm almost 100% satisfied with my tone and gear ..I actually have the least amount of guitars in my inventory then i have had in years.They are all very tone and personalized playability specific ..Kind of like a custom inventory..

There is a few small things i would like to do like putting a Callaham tremolo on one Strat and a set of Sprezel trim lok's on another ..

Other than these two things the only other thing i really desire is a top shelf Gretsch or Gibson hollow body that i just don't have the scratch for at this time..
