Been a lead singer and piano/organ player forever but finally sat in on guitar with my friend's band. Did a couple just singing, one on piano and the one singing and playing guitar. Asked my friend afterwards which one sounded the best and I was happy to hear him say the guitar one (new arrangement of Smokestack Lightnin' by Howling Wolf). Only thing was that for some reason every time the open G chord came around, my pinkie didn't want to go on the high E string, so rather than fight it during the song I just made sure not play that string...

That's usually where I fat-finger it during "Gut Feeling".

Felt good. Played through the other guitar players Silverface Fender Bassman and it sounded amazing but I was afraid I was too loud so I turned down a bit. Found out from my friend afterwards that as a guitar player you can never be too loud!
