So I was going to register my gear, but the momment I tried to add my '01 Candy Green EC Strat I was shot down. It turns out that you can only add guitars that are currently on the list. I could register my EC Strat, but it would have to be listed as one of the current color Fender sells right now.

Too bad. It was a cool idea.

i had the same issue i have a 62 reissue surf green strat i had to basically go back into the forum and find all the color numbers and enter the serial number. your right it does seem like fender did not realize people with guitar a few years old that have been discontinued would try and register their gear.

So I guess I shouldn't waste my time with my 2000 Am. Dlx in Trans. Teal then!
