How do you allow use of the bridge tone control on a 2010 MIM Strat. I would like the bridge and middle shared.
I see lots of information for American Strats saying you can jumper the neck position on the five way switch to the empty lug right beside it.
Can you do the same with a MIM strat? I ask because the MIM strats have the tone cap on the bottom tone pot but the MIA strats have the tone cap on the top tone pot.

Wire your MIM Strat 5-way switch like this:

Physical location of the tone cap is irrelevant. The electrical connections are the same.
