Has anyone here used one of these Oak Grigsby 5-way Super switches? I am told these can be used like a standard 5-way but that it adds a neck/bridge parallel setting in the middle position of a 3-pickup guitar. Have not seen seen a wiring diagram for that. I ordered these and I was suppose to get a 2-lug single-wafer, 5-way super switch with 5-lugs on the top, not just 4. One vendor advertised these as the same as the 2nd picture and sent me a sack full. Not quite sure how to use it. It has, as you can see, only 4-lugs on top and none of the top lugs contact anything when the switch is in position #1 (or #5 depending on how you turn it!) Only the two out-side poles are in contact! Are you confused? LOL.

To get the neck/bridge parallel setting I use the exact same switch used by Fender on the Ultra, a 2-pole single-wafer, 5-way super switch that has 5 lugs on top and all lugs are connected at some time with the outside poles. The vendor I get these from also called these "Oak Grigsby 5-way Super switch"! So now you can see the confusion. They are two different switches altogether. The one below is also used on the Jame Burton Telecasters (with 3-pickups).

These switches are not to be confused with the 4-pole dual-wafer super-switch with 5-lugs on top. These are pretty cool too and I have used them a lot.

The top pic looks like a kill switch in the 1st or 5th pos.

but not sure how to wire it its a little complex!

I would have to tinker with it
