Yesterday I disassembled the pickguard to give it a clear coat. I'll do this some day next week.
But since I had it off the guitar and disassembled, I thought I might take my chance and see, what it looks like on other colors than black.
I layed it on 3 other strats I have, just to get an impression and man, I love it on olympic white and surf pearl. It didn't convince me on blonde though.

It does look better with the checkerboard. It has more depth--and it's not too busy then.
