Got my handwound Don Mare formvar 50s pickups in the mail. They look solid but have a definite vintage look about them. Our bass player is handy with solder so I'm going to have him put them in. Will report back on how they sound when I get 'em.

In the meantime, he's going to loan me his SG with P90s so I'll be able to see how that plays and sounds as well.
