Hi there ive recently wanted to upgrade my strat and ive hit a snag. What is a good sounding pickup setup in H/S/H? Im open to any kind of pickups or brand e.g seymour duncans, dimarzio jazz, blues, rock etc. my neck is maple and my influence is richie sambora. What will give me a beautiful sound on clean and be a monster on distortion but at the same time uphold them highs and mids. To give you an idea of my sound my last setup.was seymour duncan jb sh-4 and fender texas special pickups in a HSS config.

Thankyou in advance people.

If you're a huge Bon Jovi fan, then you'll probably need an HHH setup with coil-tap/split.

I like theway Dimarzio buckers sound, specifically the DP151. Though they are hard to come by these days. Seymour duncans have great buckers too, JB, 59's, INVADER, though I don't have any of those. The only Duncan I used was a HOT RAIL bucker which was awesome! Give those guys some listens on the youtube and take it from there. If you have a chance, check out some guitars equipped with them at your local shop. Also, I beleive Dimarzio has a 30 day trial period on the pups, you may want to look into that to test on your own axe! Happy Rocking.
