Happy New Fender Guitar Day. So far, 5 Fender basses, 3 Fender electric guitars and a Fender acoustic have passed through or currently in my hands. A few Squiers too.

The New guitar is a Deluxe Players Strat



Bought primarily due to 12" radius fingerboard being similar to my Les Paul which I like the flatness factor. But the 'Merican pickups are nice to get.

From 1963 to 1978 I lived in the same house as a real deal 1957 Strat. I learned to play guitar on it and my dad would loan it to my band buddies for gigs. I was primarily a bassist in 70's. This is my first real deal strat after a clone or 2 and a tribute G&L. He sold it in 79 traded actually for a Acoustic.
