I need some help. I had Chrome Blue Strat HH and stupidly sold it a few years ago. I found a 2003 Strat that, from the photo looks a little bit like Chrome Blue ... but maybe not.

Was Electron Blue an available color on a standard American Strat in 2003?

Thoughts on whether this guitar is Chrome or Electron?

The finish you're talking about is Aquamarine Blue Metallic. Electron Blue was a colour option for the MIM Standards from that year.

You sure the Aquamarine Metallic was available in 2003?

I really think it is Chrome Blue in bad lighting, cause I can't find proof of any other blue clolor offered on an American Standard in 2003.

Aqua Blue Metallic was offered on the US Series from their introduction in 2000 to late 2003. Fender discontinued this colour option in 2004.
