i bought myself a new mim standard 3 tone brown s.b. w/ rosewood fret board. changed the strings and the pups to my fav. 57/62 set and wired it with 1 tone (rory gallagher style). i love it. i went to my local fender dealer and i wasn't in the market for another fender strat but i just fell in love with this one. my son saw it and said that he thought it looked like Rory's strat and that turned on the lightbulb in my head. i know "it didn't happen without pictures" but thank god this site doesn't dictate reality because i'm just not tech savy. a giant thanks to my son for the idea. now for an ac30.
