Thank you all for the kind words and a warm welcome!

The SRV Paisley was one of those..."Hmmm....I wonder..." moments when I ran across the complete Pink Paisley Body at a local retailer, then stumbled upon a good deal on a SRV Signature Neck. Had to modify the Body for a 4 Bolt Neck Plate to allow for the SRV, but it was worth it, as it turned out to be a fine player with great sustain. Bridge is "locked & blocked" with wood shims so it's essentially a fixed bridge now.

The "Black Pearl" I'm still trying to identify and eagerly awaiting the return of after it receives a full set up, some new strings and a 37mm Big Brass Block Upgrade. Cannot wait to plug it into my JMP and see what it can do!

Man, I have been so happy with the '89 Custom Shop Strat that I let the SRV Paisley and another of my guitars go. I am finally parred down to the four I play; '82 LP Standard, '89 CS Strat, '88 Gunslinger "Graffiti" and '89/'90 Kramer Telecaster Custom...I LOVE 'EM ALL!!!
