Hi folks,

Just a few quick questions:

I read in Fender's guide to setting up American Series two-privot bridges and they say:

Quote:
For a two-pivot model such as the American Series bridge, use your tremolo arm to pull the bridge back flush with the body and adjust the two pivot screws to the point where the tremolo plate sits entirely flush at the body (not lifted at the front or back of the plate).

If you look at the picture I have posted mine isn't sitting flush with the body. Does this need to be adjusted? I was actually toying with the idea of putting in the two extra springs as I don't use the trem a lot. Infact, I rarely use it. What steps would I need to take if I decided to install the two extra springs? I use 9 - 42 gauge strings......

I also noticed that the screw on the left hand side of my LSR roller nut isn't as snug as it is on the right. Can I tighten this down myself or is it meant to be like this?

Wow its a miracle You got a response

Hey guy first off don't be scared tinkering with Your axe its a nice one that loves to be fondled

Your tremelo if You dont want to use it,add the two extra springs to it and if You have enough room without buzz lower Your bridge, just loosen Your strings and tighten the two bridge points untilsnug not over tight though! That should do it on that.

The nut of course can be tightened just not too tight, just snug tight!

Hope this helps!
