Has anyone tried the new vintage modified strats announced during Namm?

I noticed they are 100.00 cheaper than the current crop of vintage modified strats.

granted they are basswood instead of indian red cedar. im wondering if the neck quality
is as good as the previous vintaged modified or the classic vibe series but at 249.00 street price for a "vintage white" color and a big headstock... im tempted .. very tempted, to snag one to play around with upgrades.

Thoughts?

I will probably snag one and put it through its paces.. if im not into it then ill fleabay it.. lol
