I have recently resprayed my strat in daphne blue and am undecided on what colour pickguard to use. The one I currently have is mint green with black pups ond knobs. Do you think I should stay with this or change for aged/cream parts or keep the black bits and use a tortoise shell guard? Too many options!!!!

It looks good that way.I personally like either white or aged white but to each his own.The mint guard and black knobs and pup covers is kind of unique too....don't see that all the time with that color.Its your guitar and you may do whatever you wish.Thats the beauty of it

Mint looks just excellent to me. maybe change the pup covers for cream.
