Hi to every one. Cast here from Billings Montana the Big Sky Country.I got a Fender American Special Strat HSS BLK and I am having a buzzing sound with the Guitar I had it setup and new strings and still get the buzz sound. Has any one had the same trouble and what did you do? Help.

Have you had the neck relief checked. I hate to say this but sometimes the neck needs to be adjusted. If not the neck, check the saddles. If you had the guitar professionally set up, take it back and tell them what the problem is. They should correct it if you payed for a professional set up.

Is this your first guitar with jumbo frets? I know it's a weird question but I had the same issue with my AM Special. The more I played it the less I noticed the buzzing.

For me it was a matter of getting use to the jumbo frets. The finger pressure for fretting required on my strat is different than my PRS. Not in a good or bad way, just different.

One more question, did you change the gauge of your strings or stay with 9's?
