Me pregunto si se trata de una Fender Stratocaster real y qué tipo o modelo. Por lo poco que he podido averiguar y deducir podría ser una custom porque no tiene número de serie en la pala.
Desde ya muchas gracias.

I wonder if it's a real Fender Stratocaster and what type or model. From what little I could find out and figure it could be a custom because it has no serial number on the shovel.
From already thank you very much.

Hi xleandro,

It doesn't look like an "original" of anything, not original tuners to the neck, maybe a parts-caster. The lack of serial number anywhere is just one indicator that it isn't legit, the body and neck look to be aftermarket, although possibly Japanese, IMO.

I agree - either a parts guitar or at best a refinished MIJ guitar - no serial number is a dead giveaway as all legit Fenders will have a serial number on them somewhere - the front of the headstock, the back of the headstock, on the neck plate, or on the back of the neck above the heel for some MIJ guitars. Of course I'm not counting the first few Strats where they put the serial number on the trem cover plate as this obviously couldn't be a 1954 Strat.

Other issues - it appears it had Gotoh tuners (like a lot of 80s MIJ Fenders) at some point from the holes drilled on the headstock which have been replaced by Fender/Schaller or Fender/Ping tuners. The headstock decal looks like a replacement - almost like another decal was scratched off and a vintage looking one was put on in its place. Also the original string trees were removed and a single vintage-style one was installed.

As I said - two possibilities:

1. Parts guitar with a mix of parts that could be Fender or could be from other sources.

2. It could be a mid-80s MIJ Fender that has been refinished.
