Just converted my American Fat Strat to an SSS Model. The Texas Special I put in don't match the color of my other two older Texas Specials. I prefer the worn look of the yellowish-white pickup covers, I'm wondering what the best way is to make them match while still using official fender hardware.

Are my other two pickups yellowish because of age, or did they come that way on the 2001 American Fat Strats? Can I leave the pickup cover out in the sun for a week to get the same effect? Are there any official fender pickup covers that will give me a more worn yellowish look?
