I bought this used strat on ebay tonite. At is over 20 years old and it has had some modifications but the finish is original Any idea what this color is ?

in that light it looks like Shell pink or Coral.

I have an '87 Plus in Fiesta Red that looks like that. Have you looked under the hood to see if the colour has faded any?

I think this is the coral pink. It's too pronounced for the shell pink, as shell is very soft. But this could also be a deception by the camera. Also, cnsky54 may beon to something here, the feista red does fade to a really cool pink.

I had an '87, too. First and one of the best Strats I ever owned. Mine was stripped and stained a golden brown. When I looked under the hood I found out that it had been origenaly gun metal blue.
