--Revised-- (thanks Chet)

So my strat fell from a stand and landed on a pedal and now has a fairly deep scratch/dent on the fretboard and a chip in a fret from the string cutting into it. I realize that I am going to have to get a new fret and possibly fill the scratch/dent. I was wondering if anyone knew about how much this would cost a my local guitar center or other shop? Thank you!

Here is a picture of the damage...

I also should say that I will have to fill the scratch/dent since the strings catch it when i am bending or playing around it. Thanks

Link work for mee.

I fix some wood "scratch " like that with damp piece of cloth that you put on the damaged wood.

The moisture will swell the wood. It'll take a few hours or a day. Wood become like new.

For the fret ? replacement ? See a good luthier

The fret could be replaced, for about $15 - $20 dollars. Or you can pay more and have all the frets leveled to where the nick in the fret is gone, and then have them re-crowned and polished. As for the dent in the wood, it doesn't look that bad, and you can probably ignore it without even feeling it that much. If you can't live with it, try dampening the wood like stated above (and sometimes hitting the wet wood with a hot soldering iron will steam it into shape). Or you can try this with probably much better results : drop fill the dent in the wood with super glue. This will take several layers to build it up to the surrounding material, but once done, can be sanded flush and polished smooth. It will also be completely invisible ;) And extremely hard too!
