Hi everyone,

Here`s another question:
is there any possibility for anyone to help me identify these pick-ups from the photos in the link below:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/doczi/sets ... 854700277/

I`ve taken of the pickguard but no writing on their backs.
The only detail I`ve noticed is that the polepieces are of different height.

Thanks.

The link does not work. You seed to open your picture in flickr and then do a "copy Image location" and then paste it in the fender forum. THEN select the link and click on the little box above called "Img" and that will make the HTML load the picture for we can see it in the Forum!

Really, without looking at the backs of the pickups it is hard to tell if they have been replaced or if they are stock, and this looks like an American Standard Strat with 3 Standard Single-Coil Strat Pickups with Ceramic Magnets—that would be my guess! I do find it odd that this guitar say Made in USA on the neck but the neck plate is blank. Also it has two string trees rather than the one I have seen on 04 American Standard Strats. It has the wrong headstock logo to be a Hyway 1 Strat. Something seems wrong ??? Anyone else have any ideas. Here are some of his pictures:

Here is what a real 2004 American Standard Strat looks like:

It's a 2004 highway one, but I don't know what kind of pickups came in it.

I had a 2005 highway one neck, that looked exactley like that.

Here's a pic of a similar 2004 highway one.

Mr. JasonSD, great to hear from you! I guess i better stick with guitars I know more about! LOL! Hey how come his guitar has a blank neck-plate? Should it not say Corona, CA or something on it and have a hole fore a micro tilt? Just seems wrong to have an American Standard Strat made in Mexico!

They came stock with the blank neck plates. I don't know the whole story on highway ones, if they're american parts assembled in Mexico or the other way around, but I think it's a mix of the 2.

Other people probably know the history a little better.

I ran a search of the serial number on one of the sites and gave me the answer that it was made in the Fender Corona factory.
I`ll try to post some photos of the back of the pickguard when I`ll change the strings.
Thanks to all of you for your inputs....I have been trying to find out what Strat model is for a month now, but according to the coments, it`s 95% 2004 Higway One.
Thanks again.

The early highway ones were exactly like yours, Fender described the pickups as vintage style alnico with staggered pole pieces, hope this helps.
