I absolutely love the sound Robert Cray gets out of his strat. I know alot of it has to do with technique, but does anyone know anything about his rig? pups, pedals, amps?

Robert Cray uses Fender Stratocaster and Telecaster guitars, his Custom Shop signature Strat is fitted with three custom-wound vintage single-coils with 5-way switching.


Robert plugs his guitars into two Matchless Clubman 35 and a Fender Vibro King.

For effects, Robert uses the following units:

Korg DTR-1 Tuner
