Post subject: Foto Flame Strat rebuilt!!

Here she is! first the before pics. It was in BAD shape!! There was more nasty funk on the fretboard than any guitar I've ever seen! It was super gross! The original pickguard was broke, and the electronics were complete junk! The bridge and saddles were rusted. 2 Of the saddles were a different type.

So I stripped it. Cleaned the ever-loving $@!& out of it. New CTS pots and switch. Fender 57/62 pickups, new Warmoth pickguard. And about a gallon of soap and water! :)

Very nice and great pics!

Just curious about the fretboard, what did you treat it with? Have you ever tried sanding out the fingernail marks? Those little ovals drive me nuts to look at, are they generally too deep to sand out?
