Hey there ya'll, Bob-o out of Texas here, just wondering what kind of extensive MODS ya'll have done to your strats! I'm about to start mapping and routing a body that I have to accept a JAGUAR upper controls plate! I'll have pics up as soon as I start molesting it. I'm very curious to see and hear about what you got. I'm not talking about pick guard or pick up swaps, but some wacky and radical ideas that may have some influence on FENDER'S next big idea! Lets share!

You could always get a spare piece of matching pick guard material and do it like this Burns Cobra and fit the Jag controls on there

Ted, That's a pretty cool looking guitar. I got ahold of a jag control plate already. Gonna have some fun soon carving this baby up.

I have a 2011 Sianna Burst Ashe Strat Maple neck. I bought it new in 2011. I just installed EMG set SA20 pickups, Fender Schaller Locking tuners. I'm thinking about Blocking the trem also. The EMG's sound great clean and dirty.

All of mine are pretty simple. VN pups, bone nut, staggered tuners, steel block, and a white scratchplate.

Aside from the usual PICKUP, TUNER and SADDLE changes.......I haven't gotten too radical with my guitars. On the surface they appear to be well behaved Strats.....but 'under the hood'....they have premium components.....

This 2002 Am. Dlx. Fat Strat is THE most radical I've gotten.
It's got a factory worn chrome covered DiMarzio 36th Anniv. P.A.F. in the bridge....

If my Fender comes with Ping tuners, I switch them out with Fender/Schaller "F" locking tuners. The only one I have not is my Blacktop HH Floyd Rose (soon to be HSH), don't need them with the Floyd.

My most heavily modded guitar and my #1:

One I haven't modded yet:

Here's some pics of the body I plan on using, it's a "GALACTIC PURPLE" squier standard body, and I have a lefty MIM neck tha I'm putting on here. I plan on having a custom cut pick guard to fill some of te gaps. I'll put up some more once I start routing.
