Hi All
Just looking for some background on the above. I recently acquired an early HBS-1 Strat, relic, in Burgundy Mist (don;t call it pink!)

Just wondering how many were made? The significance of the hand initialed 69's (are they wound by Ms Ybarra or supervised by her) and any other info that might be floating around. Can post the serial if required.

Thanks in advance

C

I believe the HBS strats were custom shop models I think. Try the CS section of the forum with pics and serial etc. you will probably get answers there.

I have pickups like that and yes, they were made under the supervision of Ms. Ybarra. But do you have any pic's?
