I posted this a few months back and didn't get an answer, so I thought I'd try again. I'm desperate. I've been using this brand of pick for about 19 years now, and I'm starting to run low on them. The store I bought them from has gone out of business. I've looked everywhere I could think of and haven't been able to find it. I went to Guitar Center and had the manager look for them and he couldn't find them. Does anybody know what brand these picks are? If I could find some picks just like this I would buy a hundred of them. If somebody can positively identify this pick, you will be my personal hero.

It almost looks like an older Dunlop, but the logo doesn't jive. How thick is it?

I found out from somebody on the Tele board that it's a Herdim. German made picks. It's about .6 mm thick.

That's great that you found the make. Thanks for the size too.

It's definitely made of nylon. Is that a Yamaha logo, with three tuning forks?
It could be a Herdim I guess, do they still make them?
Really though, any nylon pick would do the job. Dunlop make the grey ones.
The change might do you good, unless you're superstitious about them.

Herdim blue, normal style. The Edge from U2 uses them. They are looking a bit different these days but they are the same picks since then.

Cheers,
Robin

Illustrating Robin's post above. Available by post, I think they have 1,069 in stock :D

If you are not able to find the exact brand, I got some at GC that I absolutely love and look like they have a very similar design: Snarling Dogs "Brain Picks" 1.14 mm. They're much thincker than .66 or what ever you said, but I'm pretty sure they come in different thicknesses. I never lose them and will likely never go back to plain picks without the grippy stuff on them. And they come in a little metal box with a slide top. You can put your weed in it...(haha) Good luck. Hope this helps.
