Hi, i'm from Italy, and I'm new in the forum.
I'm going to buy a Fender Stratocaster (Highway?) but there are a lot of fake on the web...
Can someone help me to identify this guitar?
Here's some pictures:

Jotun, It looks legit to me. Has some nice upgrades as well. You should have a pic of the back of the guitar body also.

Wasn't the body of the Highway satin finished? It looks to me gloss...

TBH I'm finding it a bit hard to tell concerning the finish. The pics aren't very clear to me. Everything else seems to be where it should be though.

Taking a another look at some of those pics, you may be right about the finish. It does look a bit glossy. Hopefully somebody else will chime in here. Don't buy it yet. :)

Yea, me too :D But I'll tell one thing, if it's a fake, it's got me fooled.

OK here's a possibility. It may be a Highway 1 Neck bolted on to a MIM body. Apparently they're interchangable. IMO to be more certain you'll have to dig deeper. Try to get seller to level w/you. Bottom line though, if you don't trust it, pass it up, esp. if all you have to go on are poor pics. Sorry I can't of more help. good luck

The body on a highway 1 is nitro finish. (Nitro should have a dull appearance)
The seymour duncan and those tuners aren't standard equipment on the highway 1 either.

The serial number on the neck indicates made in USA in 2002.
I'm wondering if the neck plate says Corona on it?

Nitro can be polished to a high gloss just like any other finish.
