Hi guys,

I have a 1993-94 candy apple red Japanese Strat (62 Re-Issue style) which I absolutely adore which is in need of a re-fret. I love the feel of the guitar and want to stick with the fret size that was placed on it from new. Trouble is I have researched a fair few sites and simply can't find out what fret size I need to order? I have ordered a set of pre-cut Genuine Fender Replacement Parts "Fret Wire Vintage" Part number 09920 14000 but the tang is not quite long enough.

Any ideas

Thanks

25south

PS: I have measured one of the frets I removed from the guitar the crown is 0.078 and from the bottom of the tang to the top of the crown is 0.11.
