Hello everyone!! I just got a new American Standard and I'm thinking about changing pickups. I have Texas Specials in my other strat and I'm using a Blues Junior amp. I'm considering Fat 50's for my new one . Are these two similar or totally different? I play in a Country/Southern rock band. But I love to play the blues too. Any Suggestions?? It's hard to find these in the stores and try 'em out. Thanks guys for any advice.

What Pickups are bright and chimey with the tight bass but also are good for rock n roll too?

Consider the Fat 50's essentially the same tonality as the Texas Specials but without the grit and of course, not as powerful.
