I'm thinking of swapping out the stock Humbuckers on my Blacktop Strat. Can anyone tell me if the pups are 4-conductor? I think that the stock pups are just too hot for my style. I was thinking of getting some of the "Golden Age" humbuckers that Stewmac has. They are 4-conductor,and they have good reviews. Thanks in advance.

Welcome.

Yes, your Fender pickups are 4 conductor.

You're welcome and good luck!

You're welcome!

Whenever (just) a two humbucker guitar has a 5 way pickup selector switch, this is usually for coil tapping capabilities, a dead giveaway to where the pickups would have to have the 4 leads.
