Post subject: Fender FSR 59 strat v Fender 62 strat

The fender 59 is it close to a fender 62 / nos custom .
The price difference is £ 800 on the custom job and £150 on the normal 62 .
I play shadows 60s tunes and wonsered if the 59 is close to the 62 . I want a rosewood neck and both have them , the 59 has 50s fat p ups .

Afraid I am no expert on vintage years, but I love SRV's playing and I know he had a 59 strat -

so maybe thats the impetus you need ...!
