I kept the Texas Specials in the Neck and Middle positions. I added a white pearliod HSS pickguard with matching Trem cavity cover plate. A Dimarzio Tone Zone to the bridge position, and Graphtech saddles.

Thats sweet! I like the pickguard, and the saddles. They look great!

How does it sound? Looks like it would sound really good.

Thats a nice axe.

Thank you. I know this is gonna sound bad, but I haven't really had much time to unleash on it...lol. Me and my wife have been keeping my brother-in-law's kids all weekend and they got here right as I had gotten strings on it and intonated, and everytime I've tried to pull it out this weekend, they've felt the need to touch it and wanna attempt ton play it....lol. Its hard to tell a 3 and 5 year old no, so I've kept it put up. But this evening its game time. I love kids I really do, but them touching my "pride and joy" makes me cringe. lol

Looks very familiar.

Mine is a Highway 1 with stock Neck and Middle pickups (Alnico III). I have a Dimarzio Super Distortion in the bridge. Graphtec saddles. And Fender/Schaller locking tunners. White perloid pickgard and black plastic pieces. This guitar is my #1 go-to guitar at this time and has been for several years.

My children are 19 and 20 years old and they are not to touch my guitars to this day. When they were much younger, they broke the neck to my 1st Squier HM III I bought back in the 1980's.

I love the way yours turned out, very tastey.

Here's my other Strat, it was a Lite Ash Strat, but I some how managed to break the original neck. It was then replaced with a Mighty Mite neck, and I hated it. It felt like you were trying to play a tree limb with frets. I'm personnally not a fan of those necks. I ebayed the original pickups, and replaced them with an EMG KH-20 (Kirk Hammett) loaded pickguard. I also surfed eBay and found an eBay store called the "The Stratosphere". I bought a brand new American Special Strat neck. It looks like this dude buys strats, breaks them down into individual pieces, and sells them as parts. He's a little on the pricey side, but I love the American Special neck, so its worth it to me. The only other thing I haven't done that I'd like to do is install the same Graph Tech saddles on this guitar that I have on my American Special.

Here it is:
