Are fender going to change the specifications and upgrade the 2010 deluxe strat . I am thinking of getting one soon , should I wait a bit longer for a possible new 2012 version I heard that they may change the pick ups to 55s .

I see the new select series , but I am more interested in the deluxe series particularly the ash one or even the 2011 custom flame top .

I like the deluxe series but I keep getting put off by the mostly negative reports on the n3 p ups . that is why I wonder if fender might change the pups in 2012 . But I have a long memory I remember people slating lace p ups , but now they rate them . But I trust fender so I will still try for the what seems an unchaged 2012 deluxe

Some talk in this thread about the N3's being replaced for 2012, but this may just be a rumor.
