Hi everyone,

I found this guitar and i really consider purchasing it. Can anyone tell me exactly what this guitar is? I couldn't find this model on fender products so I wonder if it's fender at all.
The guitar has a 'special edition' sticker on the back of headstock, what it actually says?

this looks like it's a 60's reissue model that someone customized. the pick guard and tremolo cover aren't original

It is a legit Fender due to the headstock on the front and back. Its most likely been customized.

Hi WszystkoZajete,

It does look like a Special Edition, not sure about the cigarette burn being original. Seems legit IMO, and very nice looking. :)

Contact Fender with the serial number for the info and specs. All that we can tell from the sn is that it is a Mex made in '03 to '04.

Thanks for all the responses.

Let's assume that it's authentic Fender guitar.

Has anyone played that model?
Is it worth 600$?

I am still not convinced that it is legit Fender :(

Do you think that it might be customized tex-mex stratocaster?

Hey that tex-mex is mine lol.

Your guitar looks like a real fender, probably just a mim FSR. Not sure if the pickguard is all original or not though.

Yeah I don't think it's worth $600. I probably wouldn't pay more than $350 for it. I paid $150 and like $250 for my Tex-Mex Strats

Looks like a decent guitar, but not worth $600.

WTF?!?! The guitar on that thread is nothing like yours. Definitely not a Tex-Mex.

If you're not convinced that it's real, then contact Fender with the link provided and be done with it.
