Hey guys! I just scored some Hank Marvin pickups on ebay. They are white with grey fiber bobbins and "Hank Marvin" stamped in the base of the pickup. Anyone know anything more about them? Are they custom shop? Are they from the American Hank Marvin guitar? Will post pix when I get them in.

I'm not aware of any Hank Markin endorsed Fender stuff. It might be another company that makes them.

I checked with one of my sources. Google. Looks like Kinman made a Hank Marvin set. If that's what you bought on ebay, you could've done a lot worse. Depending on what you paid, of course. You might want to check the Kinman site and see if your markings, etc. conform to their information.

Hank used a variety of pickups throughout the years.

His personal Strats are currently fitted with Custom Shop '54s, though I saw him playing a Fiesta Red '56 NOS LTD with Vintage Noiseless pickups.
