1st Generation Highway One. I finished modifying it last week by putting on a 3 ply parchment pickguard. Vintage Noiseless P/U's, Bone Nut, Jumbo Frets, Bridge pickup wired to the 2nd tone knob ala EJ strat. My perfect git.

This is my MIM 2003 double fat stratocaster. I really liked how metal this guitar looked. When I saw this strap I just had to get it to finish the guitars look off. Im not really all about metal, but I like it when its coming out of this guitar.

What kind of wood is the neck made out of? I really like it, like a mix between maple and rosewood. Edit: Sorry I meant the fretboard, I can see the neck is maple.

I got this guitar from a friend so I'm not 100% sure of the specs. But I believe its just a lighter shade of rosewood. Maybe they used a different finish or something on this model. It's hard to find out because this model is no longer produced.

I am pretty sure that the wood on that fingerboard is rosewood. It is just lighter than whats normally seen. I have ran across a few strats that had light rosewood fingerboards like the one pictured. No two pieces of wood are the same.

Three great instruments. Each different! A good representation.
Nothing to apologize for. Makes me regret trading my Clapton of that vintage.

Enjoy!

It's always on my mind :D

Time Machine '69, modified with shielded electronics, new pick guard and 5-position switch, will soon change all plastic parts to vintage white(all plastic parts are stock, but I really wonder why they ain't 'vintage' as they should've been
