omg, thats my dream collection. me and my girlfriend always talk about having a guitar and amp room in our house one day. may i ask.... HOW ON EARTH CAN YOU AFFORD ALL OF THOSE NICE GUITARS? lol. you dont have to answer. but what advice would you have for someone who hopes of having a collection like that someday. im a college student, but i am not a usic major. i decided that i wanted to pursue a very steady career after school and remain and enthusiast and hopefully a collector. thats my dream.....

Thanks for having this place Fender!

Brought this home after trying out a new VG for a week.

I much prefer this one. Also got a new amp this week. I'm an old guy at 53, & have been playing for around 40 yrs, but this is the first time I've gotten a new guitar & amp at the same time. Damn, 'bout time, ya think? Anyway, I'm new here so I'll say hello, post some pics, then dig into the messages.

I just can't tell ya how good I feel about having this killer new guitar & amp combo. A match made in tone heaven, to be sure.

What great guitars everyone has on this thread. The dude from France must be in the oil business, huh. Wow!

Welcome fellow old dude! Yeah man, you can't go wrong with a strat and a vibroverb. Pure classic tone. What model strat is that anyway? Looks like an Am. Deluxe?

Hey thanks.

Ya it is, an Ash Deluxe. I'm lovin' it too. I can't get over the sound on the middle pup with the S1 pushed in. The neck pup is great on this setting too.

Thanks again for the welcome.

Got a different pick guard, so I gotta post another pic. What do you think? Do you like the tortoise shell better than the white pearl color? I sure do.

Hey notz

good to see another ash body deluxe owner around here.

I bought the Tobacco burst model back in 04..... I was going to hold off but all the deluxes from that year came with a 50th anni neck plate. meh I'm a sucker for anniversary stuff

Did you get to play any standards before you bought yours. I did and I couldnt believe the difference in the necks. These necks sre SOOOOOOO nice to play.
