Now those look like proper old gigging strats that are used & enjoyed, not locked away from the light of day for investment!

I noticed that all the p/ups are lowered right down on the bottom 'E' side, presumably because the magnet pull from the original single coils with fixed pole pieces causes double toning?...a very typical issue with old strats (my '69 is the same)

Rich

OK, I'll contribute - here are my three Strats (plus my Tele for good measure)

My pride & joy - an original 1969 hardtail Strat, - just had its 2nd refret - I've had it 34 years, so that's not bad going for what was my main gigging guitar!

That looks really good! Where did you find that pickguard? Since you went with the RW on your purple strat, I'll stick with the gold. But I do have a white strat the would look good with a maple pickguard... 8)
Here's the gold

I picked it up from some guy on Ebay. Forget the seller but he has a lot of wood guards.

my main "Splattercaster" ( MIM 2003):

upgrades: Wilkinson trem, Fender LSR roller nut, Seymour Duncan active Blackout single coil pickups, Fender Deluxe locking tuners, Volume control is a push/pull pot that drops the output of the active pickups to a more vintage single coil output and sound, Tone 1 control is a push/pull pot that activates the bridge pickup no matter what position the selector switch is on so I can have any combo I want (i.e. all three at once or bridge and neck at once)

my strat project Warmoth body (has a Fender neck with locking tuners and LSR roller nut):

its drilled for a wilkinson trem as well, and will be set up identical to my splatter caster

My 2001 American Series. I have installed Schaller locking tuners, LSR roller nut, removed the string tree, installed the Fender Lace Sensors in Red, Silver, Blue, and installed an N-Tune built in tuner. I really like the look and feel of the Strat Elite knobs, but not the price, so I found some without the 'F' logo for a lot less. The body color is Aquamarine Metallic with parchment plastics. I am considering installing a Plus bridge for the push in trem and chromed stainless saddles (rather than powder coated stainless). If I do, that'll be the last mod performed on this one.
